Annually, we sell over 40,000 new and 30,000 used vehicles and account for 15% of all Ford car registrations in the UK.
In addition, as a group we sell over 1 million combined service and bodyshop labour hours each year with parts sales turnover approaching £70 million.

History
- July 1923 Polar Motor Company incorporated trading as a seller and repairer of motor vehicles
- Nov 1998 Ford Motor Company acquired a 49% share of Polar Motor Company to form the Polar Motor Group Joint Venture with Jardine Motor Group
- Mar 1999 Polar Motor Group acquired Dagenham Motors Group plc
- Dec 2002 Acquisition of Birmingham (Heartlands Ford), Bristol (Brunel Ford) and Stockport (Atlantic Ford) CMA’s by Ford of Britain to form Ford Retail UK.
- May 2004 Acquisition by Ford of remaining 51% share in Polar Motor Group from Jardine Motor Group.
